Privacy policy

Effective October 3, 2026. OMO Threads Radar is operated by OMO Kids LLC, 1776 Polk St Unit 1009, Hollywood, FL 33020, United States. Contact: support@omo.kids.

What we process and why

We process your team login, a password hash, session records and workspace settings to provide private access. When you connect Threads, we receive your Threads identifier, username and an access token using threads_basic. Tokens are encrypted on our server. We use threads_keyword_search to retrieve public post text, author usernames, identifiers, timestamps and original links for the keyword searches you request. Radar does not publish posts, send messages or access private messages.

Research projects can save retrieved posts, topic relevance assessments and manual usefulness or response marks. Direct keyword-search results are returned to your browser without being saved in our database or sent to AI. We use research content to understand discussions about parenting, family wellbeing and digital habits, not to make decisions about individuals or infer sensitive personal characteristics.

AI and service providers

For project research, relevant post text, topic criteria and necessary discussion context are sent to the OpenAI API to assess text relevance. We do not send your Threads token, profile identifier or account credentials to OpenAI. Requests use store=false. API data is not used for model training by default; standard abuse monitoring may retain content for up to 30 days. store=false does not mean zero data retention.

Contabo hosts the application; Neon provides our PostgreSQL database; OpenAI provides text analysis. These providers process data needed to supply their services, subject to their service terms and data processing agreements. Processing may occur outside your country. The Neon project is hosted in AWS London and has a 6-hour history retention window. Private deployment backup snapshots are kept separately for recovery and can remain after deletion from the live application. Provider security records follow their own retention policies. We do not sell platform data or provide it to advertisers.

Retention and deletion

Copies of Threads content and related AI assessment content in Radar expire within 7 days of first retrieval. A cleanup worker clears expired text, author information, links and assessment explanations; expired content is excluded from all responses even before cleanup runs. Minimal non-content identifiers used to prevent delayed jobs from restoring expired records and usage totals can remain. Direct results remain only in the current browser view. Disconnecting removes access credentials but does not erase existing research records.

Use Threads search → Delete Threads data to remove your workspace’s saved Threads content, assessments and connection, and cancel associated jobs. For account removal or requests involving posts authored by you, email support@omo.kids. We will verify identity as necessary, remove data within our control and respond within 30 days. Provider retention is separate from Radar’s 7-day live-content limit.

Security and your rights

We use HTTPS, encrypted tokens, hashed passwords, secure session cookies and workspace access checks. You may request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, restriction or objection to processing. You may revoke authorization in Threads settings. Contact support@omo.kids for questions, rights requests or a privacy complaint. This private research service is intended for authorized adult team members and reviewers.
